Message from Organizers

The digital and environmental transitions are reshaping economies, societies, and our planet. Their convergence—the twin transition—presents a global opportunity to accelerate innovation, strengthen resilience, and build a more sustainable and inclusive future.

From digital technologies that address environmental challenges to greener and more sustainable digital infrastructure, this convergence calls for new ideas, cross-sector collaboration, and international cooperation. Governments, businesses, investors, researchers, and innovators all have a role to play in turning these challenges into opportunities.

It is in this spirit that the Twin Transition Summit will take place in Dakar on December 1–2, 2026. Bringing together stakeholders from Africa and around the world, the Summit will foster dialogue, showcase innovative solutions, mobilize investment, and strengthen partnerships at the intersection of digital transformation and environmental sustainability.

Through Twin Transition Summit – Innovation Challenge, we will highlight promising solutions, connect innovators with investors and partners, and accelerate pathways from experimentation to deployment and scale.

Launched in Dakar, the Summit aspires to become a platform for international cooperation and knowledge sharing, connecting innovation ecosystems across continents and contributing to a global agenda for the twin transition. Its ambition is to transform dialogue into action through practical solutions, collaborative initiatives, and lasting partnerships.

The challenges we face are global, and so must be our ambition. By working across borders and disciplines, we can harness the power of technology and innovation to create lasting economic, social, and environmental impact.

We invite all stakeholders to join us in Dakar and help shape a future where digital progress and environmental sustainability advance together.

The future is not only digital or green. It is both.
